Mountainside Village is a community with a vision, and if anyone understands that vision in its entirety, it is our architect and planner, Larry Thal. In fact, Larry is so excited about Mountainside that he has decided to offer personal tours of the Village every Tuesday afternoon. Come experience the special quality of this place, and see it through the eyes of the man who dreamed it.

Mountainside Institute is pleased to announce the first annual MsV Beach Volleyball Tourney! This friendly, community event will allow local teams of six or more to compete in a day-long tournament. Free festivities will include a BBQ, live local music with Lunker, swimming in the pond, and a final awards ceremony Sunday evening. Rules and details forthcoming. Sign up your team today! (Registration ends August 29.) In addition to the volleyball competition, prize will be awarded to the team with the best themed uniforms. Mountainside Institute is pleased to bring you our first T.G.I.F (or Think Green It's Friday)! Join us for an informal gathering to socialize, enjoy fine, local libations, and celebrate the end of another work week. Each TGIF will begin with a short discussion of one green topic related to homebuilding, living, or neighborhood design. We hope that these get-togethers will give people a chance to hang out, relax, think green, and maybe even learn a little something. Make this the first stop on your Friday night out....
